Today we explored reflection and refraction with bubbles. We watched a couple of cool videos with bubbles and talked about finding the 'shiney'. This is not a technical term but one we are using to describe the reflecting light in the bubbles. We also talked a little about how light gets refracted into all the colours of the rainbow by bubbles and by prisms. We have seen this happen with oil in the road as well as when you squirt a hose on a hot sunny day. After chatting, we decided that everyone loves bubbles... So why don't we go and play with some!!
